I had a visit from a friend who has never owned a pet before. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to take my dog for a walk. Before heading out, I casually spelled out “W-A-L-K” to be discreet. My friend looked at me like I was crazy and, without thinking, repeated the word out loud—and just like that, my dog went from zero to pure chaos mode. 😆 Tail wagging, zoomies, full-on excitement. My friend finally got it: dog parents have to speak in code!
